Hello everyone! I won National History Day (NHD) regionals and I am going to state! This was my first time I ever entered this competition, so I am very grateful for those who helped me achieve something so great!
For this project, I created a website to address the historical event called the Attica Prison Uprising. The uprising of Attica took place in the Attica Correctional Facility where inmates took over the prison due to increasing tensions and harsh conditions. The uprising ended in a bloody massacre and leaves a brutal mark on history today.
